English

‎"Plundered"

‎And as I gaze upon it not
‎In the twilight's final glow
‎My thoughts shall not find solace, until you depart
‎No matter how near

‎No matter how much you endeavor
‎I shall uncover a reason for pain
‎For in the end, it is not you at all
‎But a wall, wholly consumed by darkness

‎Chorus:

‎It is not I, but the wall that shatters me
‎The wall that obstructs all
‎The wall through which I cannot penetrate
‎The one that caused my heart to rupture

‎So, why do you remain alone?
‎Attempting to salvage it all
‎For in the end, even you are ensnared
‎A hunted prey, unable to rise

‎—

‎Do not expose yourself, life has taught me
‎You shall not be harmed if you do not believe
‎Only after the profound lesson
‎Only faith sustains me

‎And as the day draws to a close, I inquire of myself
‎In other musings...
‎When will the day come, and I shall mature
‎To love once more
‎And to dance within my own being

‎—

‎This morning, she found me once again
‎The sun from a distance
‎If it rises after such darkness
‎Perhaps it shall instruct me...
