Looking to get in the frame of mind for the Yamim Noraim, AND jam out to some great 70's jazz-rock? 🎸 Of course you are! 😂 That's where Six13 comes in. We're excited to adapt one of our favorite classic rock tunes for this important time of year, especially since we had to wait YEARS for the numbers to align (true story). #LShanaTova! 🍎

Anchored by a strong Jewish identity and driven by a mission to connect Jews around the globe with their heritage through music, professional Jewish a cappella group Six13 are the originators of today's Jewish a cappella sound. They've performed to rave reviews at the White House for Barack and Michelle Obama, and ten of thousands more at synagogues, religious schools, JCCs, fundraising events, B'nai Mitzvah and private affairs alike. They’ve received numerous awards for their eight best-selling CDs, been selected as finalists for casting in NBC's "The Sing-Off", and garnered more than 20 million views online.

LYRICS
Waiting for the shofar blast
So that I can break my fast
Thinking 'bout the year gone by
Aiming for the Book of Life
Almost done with Yom Kippur
5784
Dipping apples in honey
So this new year will be sweet
Time to give, repent, and pray
During these high holidays
Then I'll wish you a gut yohr (good year)
5784
L'shana tova u'metukah
(Good and sweet new year)
